Dancing On Ice fans reckon the judges got it seriously wrong in last night’s results.
Over the first two weekends, the 12 contestants on the line up performed live for the judges.
The bottom two skaters from each Sunday night tonight went head to head in the skate off.
It was Candice Brown and her pro partner Matt who was voted off Dancing On Ice 2018 last night after the skate off against Lemar and his pro skater Melody.
In the skate off, judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Jason Gardiner and Ashley Banjo decided who to save after the couples skated again.
Jason and Ashley saved Candice while Jayne and head judge Chris saved Lemar. With Chris’ head judge vote, Lemar was saved and Candice went home.
And fans weren’t too happy with the outcome.
One viewer wrote: “??? I love Matt ??? sad to see you both go! Wrong result! I thought you were the best tonight xxx”
Another agreed: “Wrong result!!!! ??”
Others complained: “I thought the skate off was judged on the skate off, not on how far they had come on. Candice was better in the skate off, end of!”
“Robbed!! Results should have been based on that final performance. Chris even said you performed better!!! Candice you were great! X,” added a forth.
Of course, it was the viewer votes that put both Candice and Lemar in trouble.
Many fans were unhappy that Cheryl Baker made it through despite placing bottom of the leaderboard with the lowest points from the judges.
“Shocking. Popularity contest and not based on skill otherwise Cheryl and Dan should have been in the skate off!” wrote one unhappy viewer.
Another concurred: “Cheryl should have been on the skate off she practically stood for a few minutes.”
Dancing On Ice 2018 continues next Sunday night on ITV.
The remaining eleven skaters will perform all together for the first time and another couple will head home.
