Love Island’s Chris Hughes has revealed all about his upcoming autobiography.
Called You Bantering Me?, Chris’ first book will be out in May and you can pre-order it here.
The book will tell Chris’ life to date (all 25 years of it), including his time on Love Island, his relationship with Olivia Attwood and his bromance with fellow Love Islander Kem Cetinay.
A blurb for the book says:
What made this down-to-earth country lad swap life on the farm with his family for red carpets and newspaper front pages? Chris reveals all about his life before the hit reality TV show and how the crippling anxiety he has suffered from before still haunts him to this day.
He shares how he has found fame and adjusted to his new life as well as the things he is learning about himself as his life is put under the spotlight for all to see.
But Chris has made the not too surprising admission that he’s not writing the book himself, despite being credited as the author on Amazon.
He told The Chris Ramsey Show on Comedy Central UK he was working with a guest writer, but insisted (via Daily Mirror): “Well I’m gonna proof read it.”
Chris was joined on the show by Love Island narrator Iain Stirling who joked: “They are called ghostwriters for a reason!. If you tell everyone they exist then they’re just a writer.”
As well as a book, Chris is currently starring in his own reality show with Olivia.
However the pair split up during filming for the show, which airs at 10PM on Wednesdays on ITVBe.
