ITV2 has CONFIRMED Paddy McGuinness as the new team captain on Celebrity Juice – while Stacey Solomon is joining the show as a regular.
Last year Fearne Cotton announced she is bowing out of the panel show after ten years as one of its leading faces.
Now, after much speculation, it’s confirmed that another of presenter Keith Lemon’s close pals will be replacing her.
Paddy has officially signed up for the show’s latest run, as the rival to returning team captain Holly Willoughby.
“I was a guest on the first ever episode and I’ve done every series since so I’ve always felt like part of the Juice family,” the funnyman commented.
“Keith’s one of my best mates, I love Holly and we all have a natural rapport. I’m looking forward to the chaos!”
Keith and Paddy also appear together in their eponymous Picture Show, which has run for two series on ITV.
Meanwhile, X Factor star and Loose Women favourite Stacey is also joining Juice as a regular panellist.
She said of her new role: “I’m so bloomin’ excited to be joining the Juice family.
“I have loved the show since it began and always enjoyed being a guest so to get to be part of the furniture is a dream come true. So here goes nothing. Wahoo!”
Other famous faces getting involved in the mayhem this series include Amanda Holden, Emily Atack, Will Mellor and Johnny Vegas. More special guests will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Saskia Schuster, ITV Comedy Controller, said: “We welcome Paddy and Stacey to the Celebrity Juice gang.
“All we can predict is unpredictability as they take their seats for the new series. Bring it on!”
Celebrity Juice returns to ITV2 for its 21st series, featuring ten brand new episodes, in March.
