Sport Relief All Star Games line up of celebrities revealed for Commonwealth Games special

All Star Games celebrity line up on BBC One

Celebrities will take part in a special all star version of the Commonwealth Games tonight.

Raising important money for Sport Relief, All Star Games: Birmingham 2022 will be hosted by Emma Willis and Jermaine Jenas.

Two teams of celebrities will compete led by Team Captains: Five-time Paralympic champion Ellie Simmonds OBE and double Olympic champion Dame Kelly Holmes.

Sport Relief All Star Games line up

Across a variety of sports, the famous faces lacing up their trainers include BBC sport presenter Mike Bushell; former Love Island winner and presenter Kem Cetinay; freestyle football world champion Liv Cooke; former international rugby union player and model Thom Evans; two time Winter Olympic snowboarder and broadcaster Aimee Fuller; double Olympic gold medal rower Helen Glover; comedian and presenter Darren Harriott; singer and presenter Una Healy and singer-songwriter HRVY.

They’ll be joined by comedian Russell Kane; BBC Asian Network DJ and TV presenter Noreen Khan; TV personality and presenter Ferne McCann; TV presenter Steph McGovern; commentator and former racing driver Billy Monger; former England Rugby Union and Lions star Ugo Monye; Gold medal Winter Olympic curler Eve Muirhead; Sky News presenter Dermot Murnaghan; author and Invictus Games athlete Mark Ormrod and Queen of the Jungle and TV personality Vicky Pattison.

Completing the line up are double Paralympic Gold medal runner Jonnie Peacock; TV presenter Mark Rhodes; former England rugby union captain Chris Robshaw; actor and comedian Tom Rosenthal; comedian Suzi Ruffell; Olympic gold medal long jumper Greg Rutherford; musician and presenter George Shelley; former professional Wales rugby star Gareth Thomas; former Love Islander and professional basketball player Ovie Soko; TV and Capital radio presenter Sian Welby; double Paralympic Gold medal runner Richard Whitehead; triple Olympic and World champion gymnast Max Whitlock and BBC Radio 1 DJ & TV presenter Rickie Haywood Williams.

The BBC share: “The action-packed event will see the celebrities and sporting legends as you’ve never seen them before as they lace up their trainers and step outside of their comfort zones.

“Teams will be put through their paces as they take on five Birmingham 2022 sports, competing in front of live crowds at the actual venues during the Games. The action will take place across Lee Valley Velopark for Cycling – Track, Alexander Stadium for Athletics, Arena Birmingham for Rhythmic Gymnastics, Smithfield for Basketball 3×3 and the NEC Arena for Table Tennis.

Sport Relief All Star Games will air on Monday 8 August at 7PM.

The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games will air from 28 July across BBC One, BBC Two and BBC Three.
