Caprice is the twelfth and final celebrity skater confirmed for the Dancing On Ice 2020 line up.
Caprice Bourret is an American model, actress, and TV personality.
She appeared via video message on Lorraine this morning (October 1) to confirm the news.
On joining the show, Caprice said “I’ve got some really big news. I’m going to be on Dancing on Ice 2020! At the moment no nerves. I’m excited more than anything.”
She is the last of next year’s Dancing On Ice 2020 contestants to be confirmed.
Caprice will now don her skates, alongside eleven other celebrities, in a bid to become champion of the ice.
She joins TV entertainer Michael Barrymore, Love Island’s Maura Higgins, footballer Kevin Kilbane and ITV newsreader Lucrezia Millarini on the line up.
Also confirmed are Steps singer Ian ‘H’ Watkins, Corrie actress Lisa George, Diversity Perri Kiely, Libby Clegg MBE and TV presenter Joe Swash.
Completing the confirmed cast are magician Ben Hanlin and TV legend Trisha Goddard who appeared live on Good Morning Britain yesterday.
On joining the show, Trisha said: “I love physical stuff. Every day I bike ride, I weight train, I love any physical thing.
“I learnt to ski at 37, I learnt to roller blade at 42. I’m 62 in December. I thought ‘why not?’ ”
Each week the twelve celebrities will skate live with their professional partners in a bid to impress both the panel and the viewers, who will ultimately decide who wins the show.
This year sees John Barrowman join Torvill and Dean and Ashley Banjo on the panel, replacing departing Jason Gardiner.
Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby once again return to present the show.
No start date has been confirmed yet with the series typically airing Sunday nights from January.
