Who are the Britain’s Got Talent judges 2019? Panel confirmed for new series

Britain's Got Talent judges for 2019 revealed

The Britain’s Got Talent 2019 judges have been revealed and there are – fortunately – no surprises.

The new series of BGT will be back on TV next year with Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden all returning for the 13th series.

The line up of judges remain unchanged for a seventh year having proved a hit since first coming together in 2012.

The Britain’s Got Talent judges will begin filming for the show in January although the series won’t start on TV until around April.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Everyone is really excited to have the full gang back for the 13th series of BGT and producers have got lots of exciting plans up their sleeves to make it the best yet.”

Meanwhile, Ant and Dec are set to return to host the show together.

The pair fronted auditions for the last series but Dec went it alone for the live shows after Ant stepped down from TV work. He went on to also miss episodes of Saturday Night Takeaway as well as the recent run of I’m A Celebrity.

Now, with a new series of BGT looming, it seems the popular duo are finally about to reunite.

According to The Sun, ITV chiefs have cleared Ant to resume working in January, when the Simon Cowell talent contest will begin production on its auditions.

“Ant has completed his recovery and ITV has decided he is ready to be back at work for Britain’s Got Talent filming,” the newspaper’s source said.

“It’s been an incredibly difficult two-year period but he has been entirely focused on turning his life around.

“ITV is very excited about Ant and Dec being reunited – but Ant’s recovery has been everyone’s first priority.”

In person auditions for Britain’s Got Talent 2019 have already wrapped up after producers travelled the country to host open try outs. However online auditions are still welcoming applications HERE, where you can upload a video before applications close on 7 February 2019.

Those that impress will be invited to perform for the judges in the new year.

As always, there was a live crowd at every venue acting as the show’s fifth judge to help the panel make their decisions and making sure the judges know when they disagree with their choices!

Series 13 of BGT will air on ITV later in 2019.

It was comedian Lost Voice Guy who won Britain’s Got Talent last series.

He joins a long line of acts who have made it huge thanks to the show: BGT’s 10th winner Lance Corporal Richard Jones, the first magician to ever win the show in 2016, has been touring the country on his sold-out UK Tour Power of Imagination.

There’s also the likes of Susan Boyle, who has sold more than 23 million records worldwide and Diversity, who have sold-out six nationwide tours and just completed their seventh UK tour Genesis.
