Tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent 2019 results are in with the latest two acts making it through to the final.
Singer Colin Thackery and stand up comedian Kojo Anim are the latest of this year’s finalists on Britain’s Got Talent 2019 this year.
This week sees the BGT 2019 semi-finalists performing live for viewer votes as they attempt to make the live final on Sunday.
Each evening eight acts will perform in a bid to win over the public. Two acts will make the final, starting with the contestant who gets the most votes. The judges will decide between the second and third placed acts as to who will join them.
Performing in tonight’s (Wednesday, May 29) semi-final were knife throwing duo Gomonov Knife Show; comedy magician John Archer; dance and singing group KNE, 88-year-old singer Colin Thackery; magic dance troupe Angels Inc. and singer Rob King.
Joining them were Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer, stand up comedian Kojo Anim and Amanda Holden’s golden buzzer choice Chapter 13, a band made up of 14-year-old Jacob, 15-year-old Noah, 15-year-old Tom and 15-year-old Jake.
In the results, host Ant and Dec first revealed the top three acts as Colin Thackery, Kojo Anim and John Archer.
The pair then announced the winner of the semi-final with the most votes and automatically through to the final as Colin Thackery.
That left Kojo Anim and John Archer facing the judges vote.
Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon all voted to send Kojo through to the final. David Walliams did not need to vote.
Therefore, Colin Thackery and Kojo Anim are the next acts through to the final.
They join the confirmed finalists from Monday and Tuesday: Magic dog act Dave & Finn, singing and dancing group Flakefleet Primary School, magicians 4MG and comedy singer Siobhan Phillips.
Elsewhere, this evening’s live show saw a performance from X Factor winner James Arthur.
The finalists will go head to head in the grand finale on SUNDAY night, June 2.
For now, the Britain’s Got Talent 2018 live semi-final shows continue Thursday, May 30 until Friday, May 31.
The semi-finals will air from 7:30PM on ITV each evening with the results from 9:30PM.
