The Apprentice star Andrew Brady has reportedly been in talks to join Celebs Go Dating.
It’s fresh from his split with Caroline Flack, with the previously engaged pair announcing their split this week.
Caroline said in a statement: “I’m sad to announce that Andrew and I have decided to part ways. Unfortunately it was not to be. I wish him all the best. At least there’s a Villa waiting for me. It’s back to the ol’ grafting.”
Andrew, who appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in January, added: “Sad to announce Caroline and I have decided to part ways. Unfortunately it was not meant to be and I wish her all the best in the future.”
According to The Sun, Andrew is already in talks to appear on E4’s Celebs Go Dating.
The tabloid even claims he was considering appearing while still officially together with Caroline.
A source explained: “Andrew approached the show while he was still with Caroline and set up a meeting with producers just one day after their split.
“Caroline was devastated when she found out her fiance was secretly planning to try and get on one of the biggest and most watched celebrity dating shows on TV.”
The insider added: “He’s not signed up yet but he’s in talks.”
Andrew himself has since tweeted about the reports: “I never comment on media speculation or stories. But in this instance I feel it necessary to.
“Yes I had a meeting (with) Celebs Go Dating after Caroline and I had separated. However, this was wrong. When someone has no money and nothing to lose they tend to do crazy irrational things.
“I am ashamed and trying to move on with my life. Please would you respect mine and Caroline’s privacy and not try and speculate on who said or did what.”
In the fallout from Caroline and Andrew’s split this week, sources accused The Apprentice star of ‘using’ the Love Island host.
“She’s disappointed that Andrew has decided to make this public at this stage. She had hoped to deal with this privately,” an insider told The Sun. “At this point she feels like he has used her so much, and that he’s full of lies.”
Meanwhile, the new series of Celebs Go Dating is expected to air in the autumn on E4.
Reality regular Katie Price is one of the other names rumoured, following her split from Kieran Hayler.
More celebrities tipped for the cast are Hollyoaks actress Chelsee Healey plus US blogger and former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Perez Hilton.
Brooke Hogan, daughter of wrestler Hulk Hogan, could also be flying out to be a part of the new show.
