Adam Thomas, Ryan Thomas, Scott Thomas land their own ITV series

Adam, Ryan and Scott Thomas will star in their own series on ITV, embarking on the trip of a lifetime to explore their family heritage. .

Former Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas, ex Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas and Love Islander Scott Thomas will appear in the six-part series.

The celebrity siblings will be joined by their father Dougie, a music promoter and lead singer of 70s band Dougie James and the Soul Train, as they explore their Indian roots in the hope of seeking out long lost relatives.

ITV say of the series: “Viewers will be treated to a rare glimpse into the brother’s exceptionally close relationship, highlighting their warmth and infectious humour as well as their relationship with their father – all done whilst trying to navigate one of the most chaotic cities in the world.

“As they arrive in Mumbai the family will attempt to explore this alien city, getting to know the culture, visiting Mumbai’s most iconic sights.

“The journey of discovery will also take them across India to the beautiful tranquil beaches of Goa as they fully immerse themselves into the country that plays a huge part in their family history.

“India is a challenge for the most hardened of travellers – the food, the crowds, the noise, so just how will three lads from Manchester and their Dad handle life in one of the most notoriously busy cities on the planet.”

Adam Thomas said: “A few weeks away with my dad and brothers, this is going to be the best lad’s holiday ever! Get me on the plane!”

Ryan Thomas added: “We are all incredibly excited but also incredibly nervous. On the flip side we can’t wait to find out more about our roots but we are also a little worried as we’re heading into the unknown! I have no doubt it’s going to be a trip we’ll never forget.”

Scott Thomas commented: “This trip is going to be epic. Not only will we find out more about our Indian heritage but we’ll also get to spend some quality time altogether as a family. It’s something we have talked about doing for a long time and to get the chance to experience this beautiful country with my brothers and dad is no doubt going to provide some amazing memories that I’ll never forget.”
