5 After Midnight get a new member after Kieran Alleyne left the group

5 After Midnight have welcomed a new member, after Kieran Alleyne left the group.

5AM were finalists on The X Factor in 2016, finishing third behind runner up Saara Aalto and winner Matt Terry.

Originally made up of Kieran, Jordan Lee and Nathan Lewis, they signed a record deal with Simon Cowell’s Syco record label last year.

The boys put out their debut single Up In Here last summer, followed by an EP in November.

However it was reported last month that they had left the record label, before Kieran announced he had left the group.

He posted a message to Twitter, telling followers: “Hi guys. I wanted to thank you for all the support and love you have given me over the years.

“I have reached a point in my career where life has thrown me lots of huge opportunities to grow as an artist and as a man.

“I wanted to tell you myself that I have made the difficult decision to leave the band 5am and 110% focus on becoming a solo artist off the back of the recent changes. ”

Jordan and Nathan however are sticking together, and have now welcomed a new member.

Brit School pupil Brad O’Neil will join them in a new line up, The Sun reports.

5 After Midnight held auditions with the newspaper, with judges including former X Factor winner Matt Terry and So Macho hitmaker Sinitta.

“I just want to get going with things. I write tracks, so hopefully it will work together.”

Nathan added to the tabloid: “Brad is completely different from our last member and it gives us the opportunity to go in a new direction.”
