X Factor 2017 results: Who will be next to get the boot?

Another two contestants are expected to leave The X Factor in this week’s results.

14 finalists remain in the competition after the opening weekend saw two contestants given the boot.

This weekend Boys and Groups will perform on Saturday while the Overs and Girls will be on stage on Sunday. At the end of each live show, a public vote will decide which one act is immediately given the boot with the bottom two sing-off axed.

At the top of the betting, Grace Davies remains the one to win.

After the first of the X Factor live shows, Grace has further shortened as the favourite to win, following her prize fight victory against Rak-Su. Davies, whose original song Too Young is currently number 2 in the iTunes chart, has been cut into 6/4 from 2/1 to win.

Aoife Heffron, Spokeswoman for BoyleSports commented “Grace Davies is going to be tough to beat as she continues to shorten to win and is now the 6/4 frontrunner. Her original tracks have won the hearts of the public and saw her take the first prize fight title, which spark the start of a long winning streak.”

Rak-Su are the new 11/4 second favourites, having shortened in from 4/1 after they won the second public vote and made it into the prize fight sing off with their original track Mamacita.

Holly Tandy has been eased out to 6/1 from 4/1 whilst the Cut Kelvins remain 8/1 shots to win.

But at the other end of the betting, it could be more bad news for Louis Walsh and his boys.

They lost Spencer Sutherland last week and now Sam Black and Leon Mallett are the hot tips to go in tonight’s vote, with the Groups’ Jack & Joel also in danger.

As for Sunday night, it’s likely we could say goodbye to another of the Overs with Tracy Leanne Jefford the current favourite to leave in Sunday’s vote.

Of course as it’s all live it could go anyway on the night…

The X Factor 2017 continues this Saturday at 8:20PM and Sunday night at 7:05PM on ITV.

Guest stars will be BGT winner Tokio Myers on the Saturday and and Rita Ora on the Sunday.
