How to apply for The X Factor: The Band on ITV

Applications are now open for The X Factor: The Band due to air on ITV in December.

The new spin-off will see contestants form a girl group and boy band in hopes of matching the success of One Direction, Fifth Harmony and Little Mix.

You can also audition with your mobile phone by sending a video of yourself singing to The X Factor’s WhatsApp number 07733 222 927.

The deadline for applications is 22 November 2019 at 23:59 GMT.

Announcing The X Factor’s new Band spin-off on Monday, Simon Cowell said: “K-Pop is ruling the world. This is a show to find a band to launch UK-Pop. It’s more than winning a record contract, it’s starting a new music wave.

“Every group will be put together by us — just like One Direction, Little Mix and Fifth Harmony. It’s people who represent Britain’s version of K-Pop.”

The series will air towards in December on ITV, replacing a previously planned X Factor All Stars series.

The judges for the new series have yet to be confirmed, with reports suggesting the line up on the panel will be different to the current celebrity series which stars Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh alongside Simon.

For now, The X Factor: Celebrity currently continues on ITV on Saturday nights.
