James’ new album

James’ new album YOU was released on October 18, featuring the hit singles ‘Naked’, ‘Falling Like The Stars’ and ‘Empty Space’, alongside new songs with features from Travis Barker (Blink 182) and Adam Lazzara from Taking Back Sunday.

James said: “I have called the album ‘YOU’ as unlike ‘Back From The Edge’ which was autobiographical, my third album is not about me, it’s about YOU.”

You can pre-order the album here.

Ahead of the record’s release, with James also dropped brand new single ‘Treehouse’.

The single features US superstar rapper Ty Dolla $ign and British rising star Shotty Horroh.

James said: “‘Treehouse is a song about surrendering – going to a safe place, a sanctuary where you can get away from your troubles. The sentiment is ‘it’s okay not to be okay’, just take a load off and go to your happy place.

“The track features two outstanding artists in Shotty Horroh and Ty Dolla$ign, they each talk about what the Treehouse means for them.”

“I’m encouraging people to find a sanctuary, sit down and chill. The line ‘I don’t know why you don’t ask for help’ could be directed at me, but everyone feels life getting on top of them at times. That’s the message I want to share. It’s an inclusive song, not a personal one.”
