The 8 remaining acts left on The X Factor took to the stage in the live shows for the fifth time.

It was a night at the Proms with with classics hits from artists including Frankie Valli, Billie Holiday and Bobby Darin getting The X Factor treatment.

Meanwhile, official voting via landlines, mobile or for free via the app is now open and will close in Sunday night’s (November 17) show.

There, the three bottom acts will be revealed of which two will head home. The contestant with the fewest votes will be immediately eliminated, leaving the remaining pair to fight it out in the sing-off.

In tonight’s show, Scarlett Lee kicked things off with Can’t Take My Eyes Off You by Frankie Valli before Brendan Murray took to the stage with Say Something by A Great Big World.

Shan Ako sang Summertime by Billie Holiday, Anthony Russell performed Beyond the Sea by Bobby Darin and duo Acacia & Aaliyah sang an original song called ‘Act Our Age’.

Bella Penfold performed Strong by London Grammar with an original rap while Dalton Harris belted out Listen by Beyonce.

Closing the show, Danny Tetley sang My Way by Frank Sinatra as the week five of the competition drew to a close.

Ahead of the live show, Danny and Acacia & Aaliyah were ranked as the acts most at risk but will their performances save them from the danger zone?

The X Factor 2018 live shows return Sunday at 8PM on ITV with the latest results, featuring guest appearances from Cheryl and Tom Walker.
