X Factor 2018: 'Four horse race' to win the show

'The X Factor' TV show, Series 15, Rehearsals, UK - 02 Nov 2018

It's a 'four horse race' to win The X Factor 2018, it's been claimed.

Ahead of tonight's latest live show, the acts in with a shot have been revealed.

And also, those who are at risk of heading home in Sunday's results.

Bookmakers Ladbrokes say that just four names are priced shorter than 12/1 to win this year's series, with Dalton Harris leading the way at 11/10.

Next in the betting is former favourite, Shan Ako, at 3/1, while Anthony Russell is 6/1 ahead of Scarlett Lee (8/1).

Last weekend saw Robbie Williams lose the second of his groups when United Vibe were eliminated before Simon Cowell said goodbye to his first contestant as Molly Scott went home.

Another two acts are expected to leave this week and at the other end of the betting Danny Tetley is currently the 66/1 rank outsider while Brendan Murray is most likely to leave the competition this weekend at 9/4.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "This could be one of the most wide open X Factor's we've ever had."
