Two more acts are heading home in tonight's X Factor 2018 results - here's who could be in danger.
United Vibe are tipped to be booted from the X Factor tonight after the judges, including mentor Robbie Williams, tore apart their performance on Saturday.
The group, who were manufactured out of solo applicants, performed their rendition of Miley Cryus’ ‘Party In The USA’ for ‘Guilty Pleasures’ week, however it was branded ‘terrible’ and lacking chemistry. As a result, bookmakers BoyleSports have made them firm 15/8 shots to be sent packing first on Sunday.
Like last weekend, there will be a double eviction and the Next Elimination is predicting a possible sing off with Danny Tetley and Janice Robinson as they are 9/4 and 5/1 respectively to be announced as eliminated first.
Meanwhile, there’s yet another new favourite to win after Dalton Andre Harris leaped to the head of the betting after his odds were slashed from 6/1 to 5/4 following his incredible rendition of ‘I Have Nothing’ by Whitney Houston.
Previous favourite Shan was equally praised for her performance of but has been eased out to second in the betting at 11/4 from 7/4.
Brendan Murray’s odds have drifted drastically to 28/1 from 7/1 after mixed criticism for a second week running. The Galway lad’s cover of Cher's ‘Believe’ fell flat and although Simon Cowell said it was better than last week and the judges praised his vocals, they agreed he needs to up his performance which has seen punters turn their backs on him.
Aoife Heffron, Spokesperson for BoyleSports commented: “A lot of acts succumbed to the pressure of Guilty Pleasures week on the X Factor, but none failed quite as hard as United Vibe, whose mentor Robbie even slated their performance, so it comes as no surprise they head the betting as favourites to be the first eliminated in tonight’s double elimination.”
She added “Dalton Andre Harris saw a flurry of fresh support pour in on Saturday and right through to Sunday after he blew everyone away with his take on Whitney Houston’s ‘I Have Nothing’. The 24-year-old Jamaican is now the 6/4 favourite to win having been backed in from 6/1.”
