Here's a first look at tonight's X Factor 2018 live show as the contestants rehearse.
The X Factor goes live at 8:25PM this evening, October 20 at 8:25pM on ITV.
The theme for the first weekend is 'This Is Me', with the final 16 contestants showcasing themselves as artists.
Song choices range from some originals to covers by the likes of BTS, John Lennon and Bruno Mars.
The acts together with their mentors have been busy rehearsing for their first performances.
This year, Simon Cowell is mentoring the Girls, Louis Tomlinson has the Boys, Robbie William is with the Groups and Ayda Williams has the Overs.
Shan said: "Simon’s been great, he’s so approachable and just full of wisdom. He’s told me to do something that suits me, and just put my best foot forward and go for it. I’m just going to do the best I can do and really enjoy it!"
Meanwhile, Molly teased of the live shows: "I’m just most excited for singing every week and having a big production. I’m a dancer, so I’m excited to have the backing dancers. But I’m just going to take each week as it comes."
This evening, both Misunderstood and Olatunji Yearwood will be singing original songs.
Olatunji said: "I'm looking forward to the first theme, This is Me. I'm really excited to be me! There is only one Ola in the world, I am really excited to show people who Ola is."
Misunderstood added: "We’re feeling positive and excited. We’re able to really show who we are, and we have so much faith in what we do, so we’re looking forward to coming out with a bang!
"Robbie has just told us to be ourselves, to have fun and just to bring it!"
But with the first live show also comes the first elimination.
LMA Choir and Giovanni Spano are in danger of making an early X Factor exit as BoyleSports pits them against each other as the joint 9/4 favourites to go.
LMA Choir are a group consisting of fifteen singers and although mentor Robbie Williams chose to put them through, he did voice his concerns that the audience wouldn’t connect with such a large group.
Ayda Fields made the widely criticised decision to put Giovanni Spano through over Louise Stear or Ricky John and it could be one she regrets as the rock singer is tipped for the boot.
Aoife Heffron, Spokesperson for BoyleSports commented: “It looks like it will be a battle between the Groups and the Overs for the first X Factor eliminations both LMA Choir and Giovanni Spano are 9/4 favourites to go.
"The Groups and Overs historically find it difficult to do well on the X Factor winning just two and three times respectively so if they cannot get the audience on their side fast they are sure to wound up saying their early goodbyes.”
The X Factor 2018 airs Saturday at 8:25PM on ITV and continues Sunday at 8PM.
