The X Factor 2018 live shows start date has been confirmed with things kicking off later this month.
The X Factor live shows begin next Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21.
The Saturday episode will run for a marathon two hours, ten minutes between 8:25PM and 10:35PM while Sunday's show will air for only an hour between 8PM and 9PM.
It suggests that the format of the series will revert from last year's, which saw acts performing over both nights.
As yet, exactly how this year's live shows format will work hasn't been confirmed.
But with a total of 16 acts making the live shows it's likely we'll see some twists along the way such as double eliminations.
Here's all ITV have to say on the live shows right now: "Each of the final 16 contestants will sing their hearts out live on stage with judges Simon Cowell, Louis Tomlinson, Robbie Williams and Ayda Williams taking their seats behind the judges’ desk to battle it out with their contestants in the hope of impressing the audience at home.
"This year Simon has the Girls, Louis has the Boys, Robbie has the Groups and Ayda has the Overs. They’ll be joined by resident host, Dermot O’Leary, who’ll be leading the proceedings and keeping the judges in check along the way.
"Throughout the live shows an outstanding line-up of guest stars perform."
For now, The X Factor 2018 continues this Saturday and Sunday night with second half of judges' houses
We'll find out which contestants have made it into the live shows alongside Simon's girls, who were revealed last week.
He chose 19-year-old Bella Penfold from Essex, 16-year-old Molly Scott from County Durham, 20-year-old Scarlett Lee from Surrey and 25-year-old Shan from Croydon as his finalists.
