Strictly Come Dancing topped Saturday night's TV ratings with almost 9 million viewers last night.
A marathon long opening live show of the BBC One series averaged a whopping 8.9 million viewers on Saturday evening, peaking with 10 million viewers.
The figure was down on the 9.4 million who tuned in last year but up on the 8.6 million viewers who watched the opening live episode in 2016.
It was popstars Faye Tozer and Ashley Roberts who topped the night's scoreboard for the opening live show.
Ashley and pro partner Pasha Kovalev danced the Viennese Waltz to Perfect by Ed Sheeran featuring Beyoncé while Faye & Giovanni Pernice closed the show with a Cha Cha Cha to Lullaby by Sigala featuring Paloma Faith.
At the other end of the leaderboard, Susannah Constantine & Anton du Beke left us with plenty to remember with their Samba to Tico Tico by Carmen Miranda.
They scored just 12 points - with Craig awarding just ONE point - after a "car crash" routine. "The best part for me was when you fell on the floor at the end," Craig Revel Horwood quipped.
As always, there is no elimination in the opening week and so no results show tonight.
Over on ITV last night, The X Factor continued with 5.1 million viewers.
This was a slight decrease on last weekend's numbers but - for the first time in 2018 - up year-on-year by 300,000 viewers.
Acts we met included Louise Setara, a 30 year old cleaner who made a comeback after first hitting the spotlight a decade ago with a record contract.
The X Factor will return tonight on ITV with the last round of auditions.
