X Factor 2018 contestant Panda Ross has history with Simon Cowell

The X Factor 2018 retuend tonight on ITV with the latest round of auditions.

Simon Cowell is back behind the judges’ desk for this year’s series alongside new judges Robbie Williams, Ayda Williams and Louis Tomlinson.

They’re once again back at Wembley Arena for more auditions.

One of the acts we met tonight is Panda Ross from Dallas, Texas who tells cameras: “I’m excited, a little nervous but I’m ready to go.”

She explaind: “I auditioned for the USA X Factor Season 1, 2 and 3 and every year they send me home.

“Six years later I’m back to settle some unfinished business with Simon Cowell. He’s gotten a little bit older but he’s still sexier.”

“In America people love me, I just hope my craziness will be received well by the British people. I’m going to give them a piece of Panda pop. it’s Panda’s time,” adds Panda.

On stage, she coos: “Simon, oh Simon!”

“Who are you?” he asks.

Panda replies: “Your ex baby mama, but I still love you. I have come all the way from across the Pond just to give you some more yeah.

“You know boo you couldn’t get rid of me that easy.”

Panda sang Aretha Franklin’s Natural Woman in a bid to impress Simon – and the other judges.

And it won over all four, with Panda sailing through to the next round.

Simon said: “What you just did with the song was pure magic.”

Those who make it through will join last week’s successful acts including Bella Penfold, a 19 year old hotel singer from Essex and Lanya Matthews, a 17 year old student from Tottenham.

Other acts we auditioning on The X Factor tonight were Louise Setara, a 30 year old cleaner who sings an original song, Cezar Ouatu, a 38 year old singing teacher who surprises the judges, and Panda Ross, who previously appeared on The X Factor in the USA.

There was also Malta’s Gaia Cauchi who previously represented Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 and won with her song The Start.

Plus, we met drag queen Gingzilla from Sydney, Australia. He gave the panel quite a shock, declaring: “I’m going to be so different you won’t even know what’s hit you,” leaving Robbie “deliciously confused”.
