It was the third weekend of The X Factor 2018 auditions on Saturday and Sunday night.

A total of fourteen contestants made it through after singing for the judges at Wembley.

Ayda Williams, Robbie Williams, Louis Tomlinson and Simon Cowell were back on the panel, with acts wanting at least three or more yeses to make it through.

In Saturday’s episode, we started with Richard Ryan, a 25 year old on call Firefighter from Kidderminster, Worcestershire and Giovanni Spano, a 33 year old West End performer from Ruislip, London. The pair both split the judges, but did get three yeses to make the next round.

Armstrong Martins, a 23 year old youth worker, surprised the judges with his unique take on a High School Musical classic, before the LMA choir proved a hit with their performance of This Is Me from The Greatest Showman.

20 year old Georgia Burgess proved the standout of the night with her cover of Who’s Loving You getting all four judges on their feet.

Sephy Francisco, a 27 year old call centre agent from the Philippines, shocked as she duetted with herself on Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli’s The Prayer while Ricky John, gave an emotional performance of Sam Cooke’s Change is Gunna Come.

Closing Saturday’s show was Tom Richards, a 24 year old singer from South Wales who previously auditioned for the show in 2010 alongside Louis Tomlinson. While Simon said no, Tom got three yeses after singing Rag’n’Bone Man’s Skin.

On Sunday’s show, impressing the judges were Bella Penfold, a 19 year old hotel singer from Essex and Lanya Matthews, a 17 year old student from Tottenham.

Singing teacher Dee Lush from London performed an original song before Dalton Andre Harris, a 24 year old performer from Jamaica gave a touching rendition of Elton John’s Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word.

23 year old singer from Blackburn, Nathan Grisdale’s took on Andra Day’s Rise Up and 25 year old session singer from Croydon, Shan sang Loren Allred’s Never Enough to make the cut with four yeses each.
