Owen Mathews brought Trouble to The X Factor 2018 stage this weekend.

The new series of The X Factor was back on Saturday with the arena auditions at The SSE Arena, Wembley, in front of the judges and a 4,000 strong audience.

Those auditioning once again faced the brand new panel made up of Simon Cowell, Robbie Williams, Ayda Williams and Louis Tomlinson.

One of the acts appearing this weekend was 17-year-old Owen Mathews.

He's a fan of Robbie, much to Ayda's jokes.

"He's 17 and he knows who you are!" she quipped.

Owen went on to sing Trouble By Elvis Presley .

"Well, Elvis was the King so good luck," Simon said.

After the performance, Simon declared: "I think you're fantastically nuts, and it's a yes."

"I think you've got something fun going on. You're definitely different," added Ayda.

Joining Owen at this week's auditions was 26-year-old Flower Stall owner Natasha Boon from Camden Town in North London, who sang Impossible in her bid to make it through.

This year, acts that get more than three ‘yeses’ will go through to the judge’s deliberation round, where the judges will decide who gets to fight for a seat in the Six Chair Challenge.

Watch all the auditions and see who gets through when The X Factor returns, Saturday 8 September at 8:30PM.

Those who make it will join the successful acts from last weekend's opening show including Danny Tetley who belted out Jennifer Hudson's And I’m Telling You for Simon 17 years after first singing for him on Pop Idol.

Other contestants who got through were 16-year-old Molly Scott from County Durham, Dreamer hitmaker Janice Robinson and returning hopeful Anthony Russell.

The X Factor 2018 auditions continue, Saturday 8 September at 8:30PM and Sunday, 9 September at 8PM.
