FOUR contestants are set to leave The X Factor 2017 this weekend.
Assuming Simon Cowell doesn't change his mind again.
A shock double-double elimination bombshell was first dropped on the acts at the start of this month.
However Simon decided to give the contestants a slight reprieve by postponing the twist until this weekend.
Last weekend's third round of live shows began with the Overs and Groups singing on Saturday night where duo Jack and Joel went home and Kevin Davy White topped the vote.
On Sunday, the Boys and Girls sang and it was Alisah Bonaobra who was voted off while Lloyd Macey won the vote.
Lloyd then beat Kevin in a new 'prize fight' twist, in place of the ditched bottom two sing off.
The X Factor returns this Saturday and Sunday and this time around two acts will leave on both nights.
It means the current crop of 10 acts will be whittled down to just six after what will be their fourth live performances.
It's also not been revealed how the eliminations will be decided. Rumour has it that we could see the least popular act from each category eliminated, rather than simply whichever acts are bottom of the overall vote.
However the eliminations go down, it'll be public votes alone that decide who stays and who goes.
After the latest exits, currently a total of 10 acts remain in the competition's final stages.
They are Simon Cowell's Groups Rak-Su, The CutKelvins and Sean and Conor Price, Sharon Osbourne's Girls Grace Davies, Rai-Elle Williams and Holly Tandy.
Plus Louis Walsh's Boys Lloyd Macey and Sam Black and Nicole Scherzinger's Overs Kevin Davy White and Matt Linnen.
The X Factor 2017 continues this Saturday at 8:10PM and Sunday night at 7:30PM on ITV
Guests stars performing will be reigning X Factor winner Matt Terry and Black Eyed Peas star Fergie.
