Simon Cowell has chosen the top groups on The X Factor 2017 but who’s the best?

Tonight (Saturday) evening saw this year’s Six Chair Challenge continue as Simon took charge of the category for the first time since One Direction.

Of course, although One Direction enjoyed plenty of success, they didn’t win and to date only one group – Little Mix – has ever actually won The X Factor.

That was now six years ago, so it is time again for another group to triumph?

Well Simon certainly took his sweet time in picking which acts to take through to judges’ houses in a bid to maximise his chances come the live shows.

Things were far from straight forward as it ended in a sing off for the final seat while a newly formed girl group prompted a rethink from Simon.

At the end of it all, those through to judges include THE CUTKELVINS, made up of siblings Shereen (20), Jay (24) and Kyle (23) and RAK-SU, childhood friends Ashley (25), Jamaal (25), Myles (25) and Mustafa (25).

There are a pair of duos: Brothers SEAN & CONOR PRICE and best pals JACK & JOEL.

And then two girl groups: LEMONADE, made up of Shania (20), Saffron (19), twins Yemi and Chilee (17) and Mya, plus the still to be named NEW GIRL BAND, comprising of Kelsey (20 from Lancashire), Imagen (17 from Stoke), Lydia (20 from Bedfordshire) Ash (21 from London), and Sky (19 from Chingford).

They were put into a girl group 24 hours before competing in Simon’s Six Chair Challenge after failing to make it through in the Girls category.

So six groups have made it to judges’ houses but who’s your favourite and which should make the live shows? Vote in our poll below!
