It’s a completely new change for the show and the first move since the show premiered waaaay back in 2004.

Fountain Studios in Wembley, London – where both of Simon Cowell’s major talent contests had been based since they began – will be demolished to make way for a new housing development.

Earlier this year, Britain’s Got Talent moved to Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire for its eleventh series.

However The X Factor couldn’t follow as that’s where Strictly Come Dancing is currently airing its live shows from.

It’s the same location that The Voice UK aired its live shows from when the show moved to ITV.

A new look set is expected, which will be revealed when the first live show debuts on Saturday night at 8:20PM.

This year there will be six weekends of live shows, with the final already scheduled in just over a month’s time on December 2 and 3.

But unlike in past years, contestants’ performances will be split between the Saturday and Sunday nights.

For the first weekend, the Boys and Girls are expected to perform on Saturday while the Overs and Groups will sing on Sunday.

It’s understood that there will be a separate public vote and up to two eliminations each night, although the exact details have not yet been confirmed.
