The X Factor 2017 viewing figures bounced back last night after hitting an all time low on Saturday night.
Ratings for Saturday's episode dropped to 4.8 million viewers, the lowest rating ever based on overnight figures. The show clashed with Strictly Come Dancing's first live episode, which was watched by over 9 million viewers.
On Sunday, numbers for the ITV singing contest bounced right back with an average audience of 6.2 million viewers between 8PM and 9PM for the final round of auditions.
The figure was down slightly on last weekend but still made the show the most watched programme of the day.
Unfortunately for The X Factor, next weekend the Sunday episodes will also begin to clash with Strictly Come Dancing as the BBC series begins its eliminations.
The X Factor will air its bootcamp episode next Saturday on ITV between 8PM and 9:30PM and on Sunday between 7:30PM and 9PM.
Strictly meanwhile will air between 6:30PM and 8:50PM on BBC One on the Saturday before continuing between 7:15PM and 8PM on the Sunday evening.
Elsewhere in last night's viewing figures, in the 9PM slot, Victoria took a bit of a hit as it dropped from last week's series high of 4.9 million viewers down to 4.3 million.
It just lost out to BBC One drama The Child In Our Time, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, which had 4.5 million viewers between 9PM and 10:30PM.
Earlier on BBC One, Antiques Roadshow was the channel's most watched show of the day with 5.5 million viewers.
