Rough Copy have spoken out after one of their member was cut from The X Factor live tour.
Band member Kazeem Ajobe was cut from the live arena show earlier this month due to an undisclosed 'backstage incident'.
Kaz's exit from the band - at least for the tour - leaves Sterling Ramsay and Joseph Thomas to conclude the remaining dates as a duo.
A show source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “There was trouble backstage, a bit of a scrap and a big row. Bosses decided Kazeem was to blame.”
This week Kaz responded to the reports and confirmed he had indeed been axed by show bosses.
But the singer didn't go into any details about exactly what went on, instead choosing to focus on the future after the tour.
"By now I'm sure you've heard what's been going on. I'm very well actually, thanks for all the support and the love you've been showing us on the tour and whilst the boys are carrying on the legacy of the RC brand while I'm out here doing what I've got to do to support my brothers," Kaz explained.
He went on: "Again thank you very much and carry on supporting us. I'm very sorry you're not able to come and see the full package."
Kaz insisted that the trio were not over and would be working again together once the tour ends this month.
"The guys are holding it up, respect for everything they're doing," he said. "But after the tour, we've got so much things planned for you guys and please just keep connecting, go on to your Facebook, the Rough copy Twitter, the YouTube, we've got so much things coming."
The X Factor live tour continues next week with performances in Brighton and London's O2 arena before the show concludes in Birmingham at the end of the month.
