The X Factor 2013 final will be held at Wembley Arena, it’s been confirmed.
Speaking at a press launch for the show today, ITV boss Peter Finchman revealed that the show would be returning to London for its climax once again.
The X Factor 2012 final had been held in Manchester in a series first, with a huge live show at the Manchester Central Convention Complex, which held over 11,000 people.
2011 was the first time that the live final had moved from its base at Fountain Studios, with the last live show being put on in front of thousands of fans at Wembley Arena.
It will be the third time the eventual finalists will have performed on the stage, with this year’s auditions and bootcamp both being held at the venue.
However, this year the auditions will start in much smaller rooms across the country, with hopefuls needing three or more yeses in order to attempt to impress the judges at the Arena try outs.
The X Factor 2013 starts on Saturday at 8PM on ITV and continues on Sunday night.
