The Voice Kids 2019 has a confirmed start date for its third series.
The new spin-off made its debut in 2017 and is back for a third outing very soon.
ITV has announced that The Voice Kids UK 2019 will start on Saturday 8th June at 8pm on ITV.
This year sees a big change as Jessie J joins the panel alongside returning coaches Will.i.am, Pixie Lott and Danny Jones.
Jessie is of course no stranger to The Voice, having been a coach on the very first series of the main show on BBC One.
Jessie said of signing up: “I love kids, I love to sing and I love to share all I know about singing and performing. The idea of combining those three things again on The Voice Kids is a dream come true.
“I am grateful to have been asked back.
“I am so excited to share my experience with the young singers on the show, who are just starting to discover themselves as singers.
“I will be protective of their experience emotionally, as well as vocally. It’s a huge moment in their lives and I am happy I get to be someone to help and hold their hand.
“It’s a fun and awesome panel to be joining. I love Pixie and Danny and I can’t wait to be sitting alongside my friend Will. Let’s go!!”
A first look of the foursome has been revealed in the preview below, which made its premiere on TV on Saturday, May 11.
The cheeky clip sees Pixie, Danny and Will surprised by new judge Jessie, who winks at the camera as she spins her chair around.
Emma Willis will be back hosting The Voice Kids, which starts Saturday 8th June at 8pm on ITV.
For the first time, young performers can enter the contest as a duo. Each coach will be looking for stars of the future, aged 7-14, to fill the nine spots on their teams when the series commences with the Blind Auditions next month.
Jess Folley was the first winner of The Voice Kids while Daniel Davies triumphed last year, both mentored by Pixie Lott.
