X Factor 2018: Natasha Boon wins over judges with Impossible cover

Natasha Boon scored four yeses on The X Factor 2018 this weekend.

The new series this week saw the return of the arena auditions at The SSE Arena, Wembley, in front of the judges and a 4,000 strong audience.

Those auditioning once more faced the brand new panel made up of Simon Cowell, Robbie Williams, Ayda Williams and Louis Tomlinson.

One of the acts appearing this weekend was 26-year-old Flower Stall owner Natasha Boon from Camden Town in North London.

“I need to get my dream. It’s my dream,” she told the judges before singing.

“People like you straight away,” remarked Robbie as Natasha got the audience immediately on her side.

Natasha auditioned with Impossible by Shontelle, as previously covered by X Factor 2012 winner James Arthur.

It was an audition that got four yeses from the panel, who were on their feet after the performance.

“You’re a star, you’re a diamond in the rough,” Robbie declared, “You remind me of Amy Winehouse and Adele.”

“I think you made yourself really proud today, it’s a yes from me,” added Louis.

Those who make it will join the successful acts from last weekend’s opening show including Danny Tetley who belted out Jennifer Hudson’s And I’m Telling You for Simon 17 years after first singing for him on Pop Idol.

Other contestants who got through were 16-year-old Molly Scott from County Durham, Dreamer hitmaker Janice Robinson and returning hopeful Anthony Russell.

The X Factor 2018 auditions continue, Saturday 8 September at 8:30PM and Sunday, 9 September at 8PM.
