X Factor 2018: Dalton Harris leads downloads with Sia cover

Dalton Andre Harris is once again leading the way in this week’s X Factor 2018 downloads.

Once again, studio versions of all the tracks performed on the X Factor’s latest live show have been released for download via iTunes and to stream via Apple Music.

And as usual, we can see just how well each act is doing on the charts.

For a third week running, Dalton is leading the way once again.

His cover of Sia’s Creep for Movie week won praise from the panel and has been equally well received by viewers.

The song is currently the best selling of last night’s performances and ranks at Number 29 in the overall iTunes download chart, the highest ranking release of this year’s live shows so far.

Dalton is the only X Factor act to currently crack the Top 100 Chart on iTunes, with Anthony Russell the next highest contestant. His cover of Eye Of The Tiger is at Number 129.

Struggling and potentially at risk of ending up in the sing-off tonight are Acacia and Aaliyah. The pair were in the sing-off last week and their latest performance isn’t ranking at all in the top 1,500 iTunes downloads.

However, downloads and streams don’t keep acts in the competition. Instead, it’ll be viewer votes that decide who stays once again.

This weekend is another double elimination. The act with the least votes from the public will be instantly eliminated. The next two acts with the fewest votes will go forward to the sing-off. They’ll perform again where the judges will decide who to save.

The X Factor is back at 8:30PM tonight on ITV with the fourth round of results, as well as performances from former X Factor finalist Olly Murs and Michael Buble.
