X Factor 2018: Cezar Ouatu stuns judges with shock audition
Cezar Ouatu stunned The X Factor 2018 judges with his audition this evening.
The X Factor 2018 returned Saturday night on ITV with the latest round of auditions.
Simon Cowell was back behind the judges’ desk for this year’s series alongside new judges Robbie Williams, Ayda Williams and Louis Tomlinson.
They’re once again back at Wembley Arena for more auditions.
One of the acts we met was Cezar Ouatu, a 38 year old singing teacher.
He was born in Romania but grew up in Italy and is now in London singing for The X Factor judges.
“It was a long journey for me but I’m really, really happy to be here tonight,” he says. “For me it’s a great moment because this is one of my biggest dreams today…”
“To meet me?” quipped Simon Cowell.
Cezar went on to stun with his operatic skills, singing Florent Pagny’s take on Nessan Dorma.
Other acts we meet this weekend include Louise Setara, a 30 year old cleaner who sings an original song and Panda Ross, who previously appeared on The X Factor in the USA.
Those who make it through will join last week’s successful acts including Bella Penfold, a 19 year old hotel singer from Essex and Lanya Matthews, a 17 year old student from Tottenham.
Dalton Andre Harris, a 24 year old performer from Jamaica, gave a touching rendition of Elton John’s Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word, while 25 year old session singer from Croydon, Shan sang Loren Allred’s Never Enough to make the cut with four yeses each.
This weekend is the final round of auditions and will also see the new judges’ deliberation round.
All the acts who got at least three yeses at the auditions will face the panel again to see if they’ve made the cut through to the Six Chair Challenge.
Watch all of the latest auditions and see who makes the Six Chair Challenge this weekend.
The X Factor 2018 airs Saturday and Sunday night on ITV.
