Waterloo Road is back with more drama, new faces and big changes ahead.
Jon Richardson joins the cast as Darius Donovan, a confident and lively media studies teacher who’s ready to shake things up.

He’s not the only newcomer – viewers will meet students Ben and Hope Drake, played by Fintan Buckard and Savannah Kunyo, along with Christine Bottomley as their mum Sam.
The new series of Waterloo Road starts Tuesday 23rd September. All episodes will be available on BBC iPlayer from 6am, while BBC One will air double episodes every Tuesday night at 9pm and 10:40pm.

Headteacher Stella Drake (Lindsey Coulson) returns, facing personal and professional challenges as her family life becomes more entangled with the school.

Plus, expect a full on-location episode directed by Angela Griffin, and plenty of returning cast including Adam Thomas, Kym Marsh, Rachel Leskovac and many more familiar faces from the student body.
Filmed in Greater Manchester, Waterloo Road has already been renewed for two more series.
