It's Saturday, it's August and that can only mean The X Factor is back! Tonight a new series kicks off with a new generation of judges, but while the panel have changed the auditionees are still the same crazy mix of talented performers and completely ridiculous wannabe singers...
One such act on this evening’s opening episode is Goldie Chueng.
"My name’s Goldie Cheung, I’m 48 and originally from Hong Kong," she tells cameras before her audition.
"I’m feeling very tired because last night I wasn’t feeling very well - I threw up. I want this very much. When I was a little girl I used to look in the mirror and pretend I was a star.
"I want to be as big as Tina Turner. People will listen to me, people will watch me. I don’t think the judges have seen somebody like me before. "
On stage and speaking to the judges, Gary Barlow and Kelly Rowland are puzzled by Goldie's choice of song, 'Copper Bell'
But they've no time to question her!
