The Voice UK: Keziah Rodell gets all coaches to turn with Work Song

It's the penultimate round of blind auditions on The Voice UK 2017 this weekend and Keziah Rodell was the standout.

One of the nine hopefuls wanting a spin from this year's coaches was 20-year-old Keziah.

Keziah from Surrey sang Hozier's Work Song as she performed to the backs of the coaches, hoping to see one face turn around.

Student Keziah has always had to put singing second to her studies. But now she’s ready to step into the spotlight and follow her dreams.

In the show on Saturday, she admitted her mum would prefer her to do something academic, but she’s ready to take the plunge and pursue music as a career.

Those with the power to help are out are this year's coaches,, Jennifer Hudson, Sir Tom Jones and Gavin Rossdale continue.

Their quest to uncover the best vocal talent that Britain has to offer continues on Saturday night but spots on the teams dwindling.

After five weeks of blind auditions, Team Jennifer and Team Gavin both have eight of their ten places filled while Sir Tom and each have seven singers on their teams.

With the number of places quickly shrinking, it's going to prove harder and harder to win a spin from the panel.

But Keziah's blind audition was still powerful enough to get all FOUR coaches to turn, choosing to join Team Gavin.

Host Emma Willis returns to front the penultimate round of blind auditions as the next batch of hopefuls all seek to claim a place in one of the coaches’ teams, making it through to the battle rounds.

They need just one coach to turn to make it, although if more than one coach spins they then have the power to pick which team to join.

Other acts on the show this weekend are Nadine McGhee and Septimus Prime.

The Voice UK 2017 continues Saturday night on ITV from 8PM.
