It's fair to say that over the years Britain's Got Talent has seen its fair share of strange, unusual and often simply ridiculous acts. It is therefore curious to wonder what on earth a 'Monster Raving Loony Party' candidate did in his audition for it to be deemed too silly even for Britain's Got Talent 2011!
As it happens, Nick "The Flying Brick" Delves actually had a very positive audition with his weird act which saw "synchronised swimming"... in supermarket trolleys. According to The Sun the judges were originally impressed with the routine, but the show producers had other ideas and axed the act.
Nick moaned to the newspaper: "We rehearsed some amazing displays, ordered new costumes and souped-up the trolleys - and it has all been for nothing. I'm gutted."
A show source told the tabloid: "I'm sure Nick's unusual act will find a niche in the cabaret world. It was very unusual."
