Viewers and Dancing On Ice judges watched in shock on the show tonight as Sam Attwater and Brianne Delcourt took on the dangerous headbanger move. It was the first time a male celebrity took on the move and if Jayne Torvill has her say it'll probably be last after Brianne's face came with centimetres of hitting the ice.
Following the show stopping move, Sam told host Phillip Schofield he wasn't entirely comfortable with the move. "Before I went on Brianne just said 'Let's give it', she said 'If my face just hits the ice carry on'" he said.
Asked if we'd be seeing the move again anytime soon, coach Jayne Torvill joked: "Probably next week!"
Despite the move the pair still didn't manage to top the leader board, scoring 24.5 points from the panel. Jason Gardiner and Robin Cousins criticised the duo's routine for lacking any sequence, with Gardiner commenting: "Tonight it was like two individuals skating rather than a couple."
