With April Fools' Day approaching, The Voice UK coaches have got in on the act early this year.
Paloma Faith, Ricky Wilson, Will.i.am and Boy George each pranked their finalists by fooling them all into thinking that they were going to sing Old MacDonald Had a Farm during the first live show.
The reactions from the contestants were varied at first but, after a bit of persuading, they seemed to actually be on board.
Will.i.am encouraged Lydia Lucy: "I really think you should try it for the live shows. It's a hot subject, Donald, Donald Trump, we're going to trump the competition. I worked on Rihanna's new record and she's doing Mary Had A Little Lamb."
Ricky tells Chloe Castro while crouching on the floor: "You need to get down with the kids, like down here, because they're quite short."
Rehearsals for the song then took place with some surprisingly AMAZING interpretations of the nursery rhyme proving that the talented acts can make anything sound good.
Although not everyone was feeling the song with Ricky having to advise Jolan: "You need to be a duck."
Once everything was revealed as being just a bit laugh, it seemed as though the 'joke' song choice had actually won over some of the finalists.
"I'm actually going to consider it," remarked Cody Frost.
Meanwhile George told Harry Fisher: "Well we might do it now as I liked the way you sung it."
