X Factor 2014 preview: Maria Ellinas sings 'Shreet Life' for the judges

Poor Maria Ellinas' audition for The X Factor this weekend ends with all four of the judges in tears of laughter.

The 26-year-old begs to sing Street Life for the judges after Simon Cowell tells her he loves the track.

But Maria's pronunciation leaves Simon somewhat annoyed.

He interrupts her performance and says: "Can I say something, it's Street life, not Shtreet, there's no H"

After a few failed attempts from Maria to ditch the extra H, Simon quips: "Do you know Shtop?"

The X Factor 2014 continues this Saturday and Sunday on ITV.

Last week saw the first set of room auditions with acts including wacky duo Blonde Electric, Chloe Jasmine and boy bands Concept and Overloaded.

Also making it through to the next round were Chloe O’Gorman, Lauren Platt and Only The Young after they all impressed the judges.

Next weekend, the auditions will move to Wembley Arena where the acts will have to impress not only the judges but also a 3,000 strong audience.
