It seems that Ricky Wilson is competing with Will.i.am on The Voice 2014 in a competition to use the most bizarre metaphor.
Going into the next stage, each coach now has seven acts in their teams which they must cut down to just three.
In the knockout rounds the artist must choose just one solo song that they think will give them the best chance to impress their coach. In a dramatic twist, each singer will take it in turn to perform on stage in front of his or her team while the rest wait anxiously in the wings.
The coaches can take only three singers through to the live shows and the coach alone will have to announce their decision as all seven remaining contestants stand on stage before the panel and live audience.
Before each coach gives their decisions however their fellow judges get a chance to offer a helping hand. Sort of.
As Kylie prepares to announce her final three in this preview clip, Ricky has some words of advice that make Will.i.am's phrases sound perfectly normal.
Ricky says: "It's like picking lobster in a restaurant... singing lobsters... Sorry, that didn't even make sense."
Will replies: "I never would've said that."
