New Xtra Factor host Matt Richardson is making the most of his new role, by bringing his X Factor obsessed mum along to filming.
Speaking to us at last week's auditions at Wembley Arena, comic Matt revealed: "My mum is obsessed with the X Factor, I used to watch it every Saturday with her rather than go out like the cool kids."
His co-host Caroline Flack blabbed: "Matt brings his mum to work, sometimes she picks him up, she'll be in the wings."
Matt replaces Olly Murs on the ITV2 series this year, but he insisted there won't be the same rumours of a romance between him and Caroline.
"They've started already with the 'Will they?', you can put bets on it in Ladbrokes," he told us. "But I think as soon as they see the first 10 seconds of the first episode they'll go 'He's too much of a goon, no one will ever go out with him'"
Caroline laughed: "It's true!"
Meanwhile, Caroline confessed she was missing Tulisa on the panel, but loved chatting to Sharon Osbourne for the spin-off show.
"Of course I miss Tulisa, she was my buddy on tour, but Sharon is a good comeback, it's completely different and it's all good," Caroline said.
The Xtra Factor airs on ITV2.
