Britain's Got Talent 2013 singer Aliki Chrysochou wowed the judges at the weekend and today we caught up with her for a chat!
29 year old Aliki is a music teacher originally from Cyrus, who was diagnosed with focal encephalitis a few years ago leading to the loss of all co-ordination, speech and movement.
It was a story that made for a very moving performance on Saturday night when Aliki sung Evanescence hit Wake Me Up, leaving Alesha Dixon in tears.
“You’re inspiring so many people, you will. I’m so glad you came here today," Alesha gushed.
David added: “When you came on I thought I hope your voice is as beautiful as how you look, and it was. It was incredible.”
Speaking to us today, the blonde beauty revealed how watching her audition back as emotional for everyone in her family.
Aliki was joined by her mum and other family to watch back the try out at the weekend and confessed: "They've all been so excited to watch the audition, it was a while for me as well as so when we watched it was a an emotional experience."
The Cyprus born performer also revealed how she hoped to impress Simon Cowell and told us that singing made her nerves go away!
