Britain's Got Talent 2013: We chat to Robbie Kennedy

Britain's Got Talent's Robbie Kennedy made it through the auditions on Saturday night, and we caught up with him this week or a chat!

Singer Robbie performed the Goo Goo Dolls track at his try out before sailing through to the next round.

Alesha Dixon gushed: “Robbie, you are so likeable. My heart is pounding. You just knocked me out. You have been blessed with a true gift.”

And David Walliams agreed: “The contrast between your amazing voice and the acoustic guitar playing worked fantastically. It was really, really stunning and it blew us all away, so well done.”

And Simon Cowell told him: "I wasn't expecting that, I think if you were to put that record out, you'd have a number one hit."

The Bricklayer spoke to us about his audition today, revealing just why he chose BGT over both The X Factor and The Voice.

Robbie admitted he was hoping to impress Simon Cowell when he stepped out on stage, and claimed that the music mogul was right to change his song.

Meanwhile, the 22-year-old told us he was hoping to be working on his own album a year from now, whether or not he wins the show.
