Coldplay and Michael Buble are being lined up for this year's X Factor celeebrity duets, it has been claimed. With three weeks to go before next month's Wembley final, bosses are starting to scout for acts who would with the remaining contestants.
And while there's no sign of Janet's dream collaboration - The Red Hot Chili Peppers - she is set to team up with one of the biggest acts on the planet, Coldplay.
"There isn’t anyone left in the show who would suit Coldplay’s music apart from Janet," a source told the Daily Star this week.
“She wowed everyone when she sang Fix You. It shows how confident everyone is that Janet will make the final.”
Also being lined up, according ot the paper, is X Factor regular Michael Buble. The Canadian crooner has performed on the show many times before, duetting in 2009 with Stacey Solomon.
There's no word on who the third singer will be, although Little Mix - who are tipped to become the first girl group to make the final - told us they wanted to sing with Jessie J.
"She’s an inspiration, we love her!" Jesy said.
Jade added: “I’m just like… speechless when I talk about her!”
And asked just what it is they take from the 23-year-old star, the girls explained: “She’s just so different, so individual… her style when she sings and the messages she puts in her songs are something we can relate to which is why we love her so much.”
This year's X Factor final will be held at Wembley on December 10 and 11.
