The Risk were sensationally booted off the X-Factor and the former favourites will have a number of William Hill punters pulling their hair out. The Risk were 33/1 to be the first act to be eliminated and had also been the subject of this year’s biggest X-Factor bet as one unlucky punter staked £3,000 on the boy band to win at 5/1.
Johnny and Kitty were forced to sing for survival and ultimately, Johnny went home. Kitty is 25/1 to win the show.
“Sunday’s show was an emotional show packed full of shocks and surprises and following his fantastic performance, Marcus is now the new favourite,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.
The biggest shock, however, was the continued survival of Frankie Cocozza. The cheeky chappie was odds on at 1/3 to get the boot on Sunday evening but Hills do not think that he has much chance of winning the competition offered at 50/1.
X-Factor Winner: 9/4 Marcus Collins; 3/1 Janet Devlin; 7/2 Craig Colton; 9/2 Misha Bryan; 6/1 Little Mix; 25/1 Kitty Brucknell; 50/1 Frankie Cocozza
