X Factor: Little Mix back Kitty in 'race row' with Derry Mensah

The X Factor 2011 contestants have apparently been split by a row that has driven the house apart. It's been hard to miss the arguments between Kitty Brucknell and Derry Mensah this week, with Derry alleging that Kitty had racially abused him.

Recalling the row this week, Derry claimed: "She snapped and went off on one and called me a black b******. She was upset that I woke her up and she looked like she was going to cry."

But while Kitty has admitted the pair argued, she has denied using any racist language.

A friend said earlier in the week: "She finds it so hurtful Derry would say all this. It’s the last thing she needs after a terrible week. She doesn’t know what his problem is,” a pal explained.

“As far as she is concerned Derry is making the whole thing up.”

According to The Sun, the other contestants are now taking sides in the argument, with Derry being backed by his Risk bandmates and Frankie Cocozza.

Girl group Little Mix meanwhile are backing Kitty.

We just wish we knew the truth!
