X Factor's kooky singer Kitty Brucknell has reportedly written a letter of apology to Derry Mensah over a row the pair had. While the singer still denies using any racist language, Kitty admitted she was wrong in the fight which all started over a sofa!
This morning Derry claimed Kitty had 'racially abused him during the argument, claiming the wacky singer had called her an "evil black b******"
A source revealed to The Sun today: "Kitty did not apologise face-to-face because Derry didn't want to speak to her for obvious reasons.
"In her letter she said how sorry she was and that due to lack of sleep she might have said something offensive — but wasn't sure because she was so tired.
"She told Derry she was really sorry for the argument and wants to be friends."
But the insider added that Derry has REFUSED to accept her apology and is still not talking to her!
"The producers gave her a firm talking to after the incident," the source explained. "They tried to get it resolved as soon as possible because she was very upset.
"Since then she's tried to be very friendly with Derry. But he's not interested. They did used to talk and they got on well but she just snapped randomly."
Meanwhile Derry said today: "I’m not well at the moment. I lost my voice just before my performance on Saturday and the whole thing has caused a lot of stress. I don’t know if Tulisa knows about it – she won’t be pleased to find out about it. We’ve resolved it, but it’s still not right.”
