X Factor’s Kitty Brucknell is "devastated" after tabloid reports accused her of making a racist slur against another contestant. It was claimed this morning that the 26-year-old had referred to The Risk member Derry as an "evil black b******" in a row between the pair backstage.
Kitty has vehemently denied the allegations, but with it being front page news it's sure to make an impact on thee singer.
"She is absolutely not a racist and would never say such a thing," a source close to the singer revealed this morning.
"She is devastated that anyone would believe it. Yes, there was a row and Kitty has apologised. She hopes they can move on."
A show spokesman commented: "There was an argument that was looked into by production. The matter was resolved."
