X Factor judges Gary Barlow and Tulisa have both admitted that comments made on last weekend's show about Misha B's supposed bullying could've put her in the bottom two. Take That star Gary said it was "terrifying" that the incident seemed to have effected Misha, an early favourite to win, so much.
Tulisa and Louis Walsh had both claimed Misha had been 'bullying' other finalists, with Tulisa adding this week that her group Little Mix had been "in tears" over the way Misha was acting.
Tonight Misha surprisingly found herself in the bottom two, and although she survived, the damage appears to have been done - no winner has ever appeared in the bottom two before.
Gary said: "I couldn't have picked the bottom two tonight, I couldn’t have honestly and I would never have put Misha B in there, I thought she was a finalist for sure."
And seeming to blame Tulisa, Gary said: "All the antics last weekend, it must have had an effect on [Misha] because the song was amazing, her voice is incredible, her version of that track was absolutely off the scale!
"I can never say enough good things about Misha," he added. "It’s terrifying to think that something as small as that last week can make this much of a difference."
Tulisa somewhat agreed, saying: "At the end of the day, people are going to make their own opinions... possibly could've had some effect. At the end of the day I don't know what it is.
"Me and Misha talked it out, I'm not taking the comments back. At the end of the day, it's over now. I've saved her tonight and I think she has so much potential"
But Misha herself wasn't as vocal about why she was in the bottom two, saying simply: "Who knows?"
