Janet Devlin has admitted her cover of Every Breath You Take on last night's X Factor was "horrible", and she's scared it could see be eliminated in this evening's latest results show. While the judges’ comments were generally good, the teenager was criticised for being "predictable" by Gary Barlow.
She said: "I am horrible-scared about the elimination. Frankly, my performance was horrible, and not in a good Halloween way! Vocally my voice wasn't up to scratch last night, it was nothing special. If I was in the bottom two I'd deserve it."
Last night Janet admitted she was her own critic, telling Xtra Factor hosts Olly Murs and Caroline Flack she was crying backstage after her performance.
Meanwhile - in more positive news - Janet said she was excited about meeting tonight's musical guest Cher Lloyd, who finished the show in fourth place last year.
"I really want to meet Cher Lloyd as last year she was described as 'Marmite', and this year so have I! Also, she loves Doc Martens, which I love, I have ten pairs now! Right I am off now, I want to go and write down my thoughts," she told the official website this evening.
